Groceries to Go matches volunteers with neighbors who can cook but need assistance with grocery shopping. Volunteers make getting groceries easy.
Here’s how you can volunteer with Groceries to Go:

Shop for a neighbor (twice a month on a schedule). Assist with putting their groceries away. Our neighbors will have a list and payment for you to shop with.

Pick up a neighbor’s prescriptions when grocery shopping.

Pick up a neighbor’s curbside grocery order.
volunteer eligibility requirements
Before you volunteer with Groceries to Go, you must meet the following Volunteer Eligibility Requirements:

Be available to shop 1 to 2 times a month (2 - 3 hour time commitment)

Be able to carry groceries and put them away for neighbor

Have reliable transportation

Have a current Driver’s License, valid inspection sticker, and proof of insurance

Attend a 30-minute training session

Pass Criminal Background Check
